Haha’ione Carnival is our biggest event of the school year. This is another fundraiser that features great rides, ono-ono
foods, games, prizes, live entertainment and even a fun rummage sale in the school cafeteria. In order
to have a successful Fun Fair Carnival, participation from all families will be needed -- so be sure to volunteer
to help our students, school and community.
.
Ohana Night is a great way to meet other parents at Haha’ione. There will be plate dinners, drinks and
cotton candy for sale, and live entertainment! Volunteers are needed for copying fliers, set-up, serving
food and breakdown.

The Harvest Festival has been an annual event at Haha’ione for many years. The
students come dressed in costume and each family brings a pumpkin for carving. The fifth grade organizes
a Haunted House that is always a huge hit with the children. Volunteers are needed for making fliers, collecting
donations for the Haunted House, set-up, serving food and clean-up. A Master of Ceremony will be needed.
One parent will need to dress up as Count Dracula or a Witch to lead the children in the costume parade (costume is
not provided).

The popular
I-Love-To-Read-A-Thon is back for its 3rd year. Last
year the read-a-thon was not only a great fundraiser but a great motivator to get our children reading. Volunteers
are needed for making fliers, putting packets together for take-home, set-up, breakdown, and making cupcakes for their child’s classroom.

The Valentine’s
Day Dance is a fun night for students and parents. This event includes food for sale and
entertainment. Volunteers are needed for making fliers, candy grams, set-up, breakdown and serving food.

The Talent
Show is a huge event at our school and allows our students to showcase their talent. Volunteers
are needed for organizing
the event, making fliers, overseeing tryouts, participating in rehearsals, creating a program, writing a script,
preparing and teaching an opening act, and set-up and breakdown.

Swim for Life is a specific event for grades 3, 4 and 5. If you have a child
in either of these grades and would like him/her to participate, please let your child's teacher know of your interest.
More information about Swim for Life will be distributed closer to the time of the program event.
.
eScrip is an easy way to earn money for our school. Volunteers
are needed to help get the information to our parents and community regarding eScrip and explain how the program works.
.
Box
Tops for Education is also a great
way to earn money for our school. Volunteers are needed to help collect Box Tops from the classrooms once
a month, count the Box Tops, and provide the necessary information to the program chair.
